How to make a Negroni

The Negroni is a true cocktail classic. Made of three equal parts, gin, sweet vermouth and Campari, makes it simple and easy to mix. This cocktail has a sharp taste that not everybody will love like the famous quote says "The bitters are excellent for your liver, the gin is bad for you. They balance each other."
The traditional version, from Italy, is stirred and poured over a rocks glass with ice, and its used an orange slice instead of a peel for garnish.

This cocktail's origin goes back to 1919 in Florence, Italy, when Pascal Olivier Count de Negroni (a French general) asked his bartender, Fosco Scarselli, to make a stronger variation of his favorite drink, the americano. So Fosco replaced soda water for gin and added an orange slice rather than lemon.
The drink was a success and the Negroni family decided to start a Negroni distillery, and sell pre-made version of this cocktail.
